Mission
My mission is to provide a seamless transition for pets and their people between times together and apart. I strive to allow pet parents to work and travel without worry, knowing their pets are in capable and caring hands.
Values
Pets are family, and my goal during every visit is to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and loved–in whatever way that looks to them. Not every animal thrives under the same conditions, and I believe that it is up to us, as their caregivers, to watch, learn, and adapt to meet individual needs.
I handle every pet with respect and work closely with pet parents to customize my routines and interactions to help each pet feel safe and secure in their home. I utilize positive reinforcement and fear-free methods to work with pets at their own speed, prioritizing safe and positive interactions that will help build trust over time.
To this goal, I am always looking to learn from other animal welfare professionals and pursue continuing education courses when possible. Animal welfare has progressed light-years in the last couple of decades, but there will always be more to learn about how to be the best animal caregivers that we can.
